Over 600 attended The Copernicus Project's annual college and science exploration day for local middle and high school students and their families on November 8, 2008. The outreach event was in collaboration with UCR's Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement (MESA) School Programs and the Boy's & Girl's Clubs of San Bernardino . Strategies for Understanding College and Careers in Engineering and Science (SUCCES) Day included a welcome from UCR Chancellor Timothy P.
